About Us:
We are currently working primarily on high-end residential, design-intensive, ground-up projects in the tri-state area, including the East End of Long Island, Connecticut, Upstate New York, and lately other areas of the country. We also have projects in NYC and extensive experience with apartments, lofts, art galleries, retail, and commercial projects.

PROJECT MANAGER / PROJECT ARCHITECT
The Role:
As a Project Manager / Project Architect at RYA, you'll have the opportunity to lead projects from inception to completion.
We're seeking someone who embodies these qualities:

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should have:
- 8+ years of post-graduate professional experience, with recent involvement in small to medium-sized firms specializing in private residential projects.
- Professional degree in Architecture from a US-accredited school.
- Licensure in at least one State in the US.
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager / Project Architect, on high end residential projects, including managing relationships with design teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Construction Administration Phase experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite and Google Workspace. Asana and Monograph a plus.
- Direct experience managing staff production, including managing staff time and expenses to stay within budget while achieving project goals.
- US work visa and fluent English.

INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECT
The Role:
As an Intermediate Architect at RYA, you'll have the opportunity to work on projects from inception to completion. Intermediate Architect’s are Project Architect/Managers in training, so the qualities we are looking for are similar to what we look for in more senior roles, just with less experience.

Qualifications:

- Professional degree in Architecture from a US-accredited school.
- Licensure in architecture is a plus or be on track for licensure.
- Responsibility for Architectural Drawings. Extensive experience drafting and orgazing clear and concise sets of architectural drawings and SKs. Love of problem solving and a good details.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite and Google Workspace. Asana and Monograph a plus.
- US work visa and fluent English.
