An example of Young’s extensive portfolio of New York City projects, this renovation focused on providing an extensive program to his clients within a relatively small footprint. Making the most of the floorplan, Young removed walls between communal areas to create a sense of overall cohesiveness and connection. A palette of warm, comfortable materials and colors create an environment that feels both upscale and down to earth. In both communal and private areas of the home, old windows were replaced with floor to ceiling glass doors that help create connection to the wrap-around terrace and remarkable views of Central Park.
